Jim Kay is a 56-year-old Nashville native who is best known for handling high profile cases in both litigation and mediation. Mr. Kay has vast experience in the courtroom as he has tried over 80 jury cases and hundreds of non-jury cases. He has also completed 2,700 mediations and presided over 200 arbitrations and is chosen daily to assist as a neutral in the most difficult cases across Tennessee. Mr. Kay is highly experienced in construction (both residential and commercial) and consults frequently with owners and contractors across the Southeast.

Mr. Kay has represented plaintiffs in two cases with verdicts over $1,000,000.00, and was plaintiff's counsel in a Williamson County, Tennessee case with a settlement of $2,900,000.00. He recently represented a Fortune 500 company and obtained a 4.6 million dollar settlement for the client in a construction dispute.

Mr. Kay is also involved in numerous community activities.
