Joseph Hubbard is a civil litigator who has won trials before judges and juries across the state of Tennessee. He represents individuals and corporate clients in both state and federal courts with an emphasis on commercial litigation, transportation litigation, tort litigation, and employment litigation. Mr. Hubbard also has an active appellate practice.
Since 2013, Mr. Hubbard has served as member of the board for the Nashville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, and recently he was nominated as the President-Elect for the 2020 term and will serve as President in 2021. Mr. Hubbard graduated from the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Leadership Forum and is currently a member of its steering committee. He served on the board of the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court and was a member of the Phoenix Club of Nashville. He has volunteered more than 130 hours at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and is an avid volunteer for many community events in the Nashville area.
Before joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Hubbard served as a judicial clerk for two years with the Honorable Richard H. Dinkins on the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Mr. Hubbard graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was the Editor in Chief of the Tennessee Law Review. As an undergraduate student, Mr. Hubbard was a Torchhbearer recipient–the University of Tennessee’s highest student award for scholarship and leadership. He lives in Nashville with his wife and two daughters.
